Exploring the Different Types of Hay
We service a 300-mile radius from our farm. We deliver full semi loads with self-unloading trailers, carrying 63 3x3 big bales, as well as loads with gooseneck trailers.
We offer various mix ratios of grass blends, as well as straight alfalfa and teff.
Each mix—alfalfa, millet, or teff—is available in limited quantities. These are offered in 3x3 square bales (average weight: 750 lbs) or small square bales (average weight: 70 lbs). Our grasses include a mix of Timothy, alfalfa, and orchard grass. We typically grow smaller stands of teff for specific stables and use millet as a rotational crop. Red Baldy Ranch is proud to provide all of these types of hay to meet the needs of our customers and their animals.
